Sarah is from New Orleans and graduated from Mount Carmel Academy. After graduation, Sarah attended Louisiana State University where she earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Psychology and served as a research assistant under Dr. Beck. After graduating, Sarah completed her 200 hour yoga teacher certification and has a unique interest in integrating holistic healing practices in her role as a counselor. Sarah works with all ages, including play therapy with children. Working from a narrative theory approach, Sarah strives to understand each client's "story" and their perceptions of themselves and the world around them. In the future, Sarah hopes to continue working with all ages and gain insight and training to incorporate other healing modalities into the counseling relationship. When she is not at the clinic, Sarah enjoys spending time with loved ones, her Boston Terrier "Otis", and cooking new and exciting recipes!
