Leah Schimpf

Leah Schimpf received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina Asheville in Psychology with a minor in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. She is now pursuing dual Master’s degrees in both Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Criminology/Criminal Justice. 

Leah is currently the Lead Graduate Assistant for the LCCE and happy to help with any questions about the clinic! Research interests include mental health within the criminal justice system, trauma-informed care, and mental health policy reform.
