“The faculty members at Loyola were extremely committed to mentoring and training competent counselors prepared to assess psychological disorders and provide effective treatment to their clients. Moreover, the faculty provided interested students the opportunity to develop and hone their research skills in order to become competent consumers of research and to further prepare those students interested in pursuing doctoral degrees.”

JoAnn Otts, MSN, RN, a graduate of Loyola's MSN-Health Care Systems Management program and a current student in Loyola's Post-Master’s Doctor of Nursing Practice program, recently led a webinar with the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) Graduate Nursing Leadership Council.

This year Loyola Faculty and Students have been accepted to present at the ACA 2017 Conference at San Francisco, California. We would like to congratulate these individuals for their hard work and dedication to the field.

The School of Nursing presents awards to the top students in each of its programs who have consistently demonstrated a scholarly approach to their coursework and who are especially respected by faculty and students alike for excellence in academic achievement.

Devin Leivo ('16) was recently accepted to the PsyD program at Xavier University in New Orleans. 

Laura Pignato ('16) was recently accepted to the PhD program at the College of William and Mary. 

Sarah Finney, President of CSI and Spring 2016 Graduate, receives the Alumni Association Graduation Award. This award will be presented to her at the College of Social Sciences Honors Convocation in May 2016.

We are excited to share that two tenure faculty members, Thomas Foster, Ph.D., LPC-S and LeAnne Steen, Ph.D., LPC-S, along with Alumna Ariann Evans, MS, NCC, PLPC, and student Laura Pignato presented at The 2016 ACA Conference in Montereal, Canada. They reported their studies' results that examined how the first six psychological stages of development predicted wellness in college students.
